SAFETY AND INJURY PREVENTION

SAFETY FIRST

All-American Sports Recreation makes safety the top priority for youth flag football. Because of that, care is taken to make the fields playable every week (even terrain, no debris, or any obstacles that could pose risks to players). Also, roughness and unsportsmanlike behavior are not tolerated.

PLAYER GEAR

We require that every youth flag football player wear a mouthguard and properly fitted flag belts. Mouthguards help protect against dental injuries and concussions. Mouthguards are supplied by the league and are included in the league fee. They are also available for purchase at the field if you forget to bring them.

NO CONTACT ALLOWED

Unlike tackle football, which has blocking and tackling, youth flag football has no contact allowed. Therefore, there are no actual lineman on offense or defense, whose only job in tackle football involves contact. Our officials will enforce these rules.
