If you have a question about a rule or an interpretation of a rule, you can ask here. Frank Rogers, president of All-American Sports Recreation, has been a certified football official, and baseball and softball umpire for decades. He is a trainer of officials and also the trainer of other trainers. You can ask him by EMailing him or fill out our form (when it becomes ready). If you are a flag football official or umpire interested in officiating any one of our leagues or tournaments, check out the details and sign up below, and a division director will get back to you. WHAT TO EXPECT Our officials will be expected to be the best the Capital District can offer, have both a passion for the game and a willingness to learn, in the primary sport you will be officiating. Before the season begins, we will expect you to attend our pre-season meetings. Each meeting will take place in a class room setting with professional instructors. PAY Pay varies by sport and experience. Pay can change every season and will be supplied upon request. FEES & TAX INFORMATION Each level within the sport(s) you choose will require an annual assignor fee. The fee varies from sport to sport and level to level. As an independent contractor you will be responsible to file a 1099 form with the IRS. Umpires and officials are not direct employees of All-American Sports Recreation. ATTIRE All officials must wear proper officials gear determined by your assignor. If you do not show up with the basic gear you may not be allowed to officiate unless previously arranged. All-American Sports Recreation does not supply equipment or uniforms. SIGN UP Send us an email to President@AllAmericanSportsRecreation.com with your information and experience to be considered for officiating. All officials will be contacted directly by the director of their sport once approved, with more information. |
