BRIEF LEAGUE HISTORY
The Early Years:
In 1990, George Higgins held a New York State Flag Touch Football
Championship in the Albany area, which inspired players and teams from informal flag football leagues to join a league bigger than their own.
Hitting it's Stride:
After the initial success, the league grew to include a Co-Ed league, weekly TV show, weekly newsletter, televised championship games and some championship games held at Giants Stadium in New Jersey.
And Now:
The league has several seasons every year for the age-segregated NFL Youth league, indoor leages and frequent charitable events.
